Meliodas Catori Okami Scindian, 21, of Woodbridge, faces multiple charges linked to the May 6 shooting in Woodbridge, Prince William County police said.

A 47-year-old man told police that he got into an argument with another driver on Dale Boulevard near Neabsco Mills Road. It's unclear what started the back and forth, but police say Scindian fired several shots at the other man's car before he tried to speed off.

The man rammed his car into Scindian's Honda as they turned onto Jefferson Davis Boulevard to stop him, police say. Scindian fired several more shots, which hit the man's car and disabled the engine, a police report notes.

Prince William police said they arrested Scindian on Thursday, June 23, without incident. Officials charged him with shooting into an occupied vehicle, attempted aggravated malicious wounding, shooting from a vehicle, and hit and run, police said.
